Relocation around Atlanta
Tirehub, a joint tire distribution company of Bridgestone Americas and Goodyear, has opened a new logistics and distribution centre in Kennesaw, Georgia to better serve the Atlanta metropolitan area.
The previous centre was in Lawrenceville in the same state, about 80 km east of Kennesaw. The relocation will cover West Atlanta and surrounding areas, while the Norcross and Chattanooga logistics hubs will continue to serve customers in North Georgia, Tirehub said. The location will hold 65,000 tyres and employ 20 logistics specialists. (sh)
