Record-breaking WCA World conference
WCA World's 2025 conference saw a record attendance of 4,700 forwarders from 179 countries, reinforcing the event’s role as a networking hub for the logistics industry, as the company has reported. Over five days, attendees engaged in more than 80,000 one-on-one meetings aimed at strengthening global business relationships.
In addition to structured meetings, the event featured a range of networking activities, including a golf tournament, a football cup and a women’s networking session. Plenary sessions provided insights into maximizing Wca membership benefits. "The sheer scale of business being conducted here speaks volumes about the power of this community", said WCA World chairman David Yokeum.
The conference also marked the beginning of WCA’s annual event calendar, which now includes more than twelve gatherings. According to WCA a highlight was the announcement that the specialty logistics fair in Dubrovnik will welcome members from the newly-launched WCA Live events and expo network. (js)
