Rail service between St Petersburg and Vladivostok
Fesco Transportation Group and Sea Fishing Port Terminal have agreed to develop a regular rail service to move containers between St Petersburg and Vladivostok (both Russia). The parties signed the relevant agreement of intent at Trans Russia.
The companies intend to launch a weekly container service for moving goods between Avtovo station (S. Petersburg) and Vladivostok, as well as to expand the service to other regions at a later date.
As part of the service, Fesco will provide Terminal Sea Fishing Port with its rolling stock, containers and terminal infrastructure. In turn, Terminal Sea Fishing Port will offer the capacities of its sea terminal in St Petersburg. (ben)
