Rail-road-sea-hub operational in Shenyang
China has opened a new railfreight terminal for China–Europe runs in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province in the northeast of the country. The first train was loaded with 55 containers and dispatched to Moscow.
The new China Railway Express (Shenyang) hub is a ‘road-rail-sea’ international multimodal logistics hub linked to the ports of Yingkou and Dalian in Liaoning, China’s state-owned information agency has said. The 92,000 sqm facility can store 3,000 teu and handle 1,000 China–Europe freight trains annually. (ben)
