Rabelink acquires activities of Leusink Logistics

Rabelink Logistics has taken over the activities of Leusink Logistics. The logistics services provider from Gaanderen, the Netherlands, filed for bankruptcy on 18 February 2020.

Just three days later, Rabelink, a subsidiary of Huttemann, was able to close a deal with the insolvency administrator. The aim was to retain as many of Leusink's employees and customers as possible. Part of the vehicle fleet will also be transferred to Rabelink.

"Leusink's customer structure and service fit very well into our portfolio," says Rabelink's managing director Alwin Schweckhorst. In total, 18 of Leusink's 45 employees will find new jobs at Rabelink Logistics. Michel van de Molen, spokesmen of Leusink Logistics, is also pleased with this outcome: "We are very happy to have found a reliable partner that can take on this difficult task." (mw)
