Qatar Airways Cargo launches interline e-bookings
According to its press release, Qatar Airways Cargo is the first air cargo carrier to launch online interline bookings with instant confirmations on its platform. From now on, interline partners no longer need to contact local staff and will receive real-time information and updates about their bookings.
The new feature on Qatar Airways Cargo's "digital lounge" portal is currently being used by American Airlines Cargo and Latam Cargo. As stated in the press release, the goal is "to extend “digital lounge” to all interline partners in the coming months."
Faisal Karamat, vice president cargo customer experience at Qatar Airways Cargo, adds that the new feature "is a testament to our commitment to adding valuable functionalities" to the digital lounge portal. (js)
