Prepared for the transition to e-mobility
Renault Trucks (Switzerland) has created a new position to drive forward the decarbonisation of commercial transport. Since 1 September 2024 René Krieger has supported transporters in the planning and implementation of all-electric transport solutions – including charging and building infrastructure.
Krieger brings with him extensive experience in vehicle construction and electromobility. After completing his apprenticeship as a vehicle fitter he worked in the family business, before completing his vocational baccalaureate and then taking an engineering degree with a focus on vehicle construction.
He then held various positions in TCS, the Emil Frey Group, PostBus and the automotive supply industry. In these roles he was regularly involved in innovative projects, such as developing autonomous and all-electric vehicles. Most recently, he worked at ZF Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance on the development of automated shuttles.
Krieger’s expertise now supports Renault Trucks (Switzerland) accompany transporters on their way to e-mobility and the concomitant practical solutions. (ah)
