Port of Rotterdam opens charging station for e-trucks
The charging station is located in the Bodaanweg truck park in Waalhaven, where up to eight e-trucks can now be recharged simultaneously. The first five charging points were installed jointly by the Port of Rotterdam Authority and Truckparkings Rotterdam Exploitatie (TRE).
The parking and charging bays are monitored around the clock. No reservation is required so far. Drivers can report directly to the intercom at the entrance. No parking fees are charged for e-trucks, and they can use all the facilities of the guarded truck park. (ben)
