Pitto elected president of Fedespedi
At its recent general assembly, Fedespedi, the Italian business organisation that represents and protects the interests of international freight forwarders, elected its former VP Alessandro Pitto, CEO of Casasco & Nardi, as its president for the next three years (2022-2025).
After Silvia Moretto, Pitto is Fedespedi’s 17th president in its over 75-year history. He has been involved in the association’s activities for over 20 years and was president of Spediporto (the freight forwarders association of Genoa).
President Pitto thanked Moreto for her work and all Fedespedi members for their support and the challenge taken up together: "We need to continue this working model by building on the experience of the people who have led it, along with the inspiration of younger colleagues who wish to participate in the life of the federation."
