Pilot test run in Hamburg with "Moccis"
Bolloré Logistics in Germany has started deploying e-bikes at its Hamburg site. The aim is to use the innovative electric bikes for day-to-day deliveries of spare parts, tools and documents between customers, the logistics centre and the authorities, replacing the vans and trucks hitherto deployed for this purpose.
Together with the Munich-based company CIP Mobility and its Mocci-brand work and cargo bikes, Bolloré Logistics is introducing specific measures to reduce CO2 emissions. With the Smart Pedal Vehicle, Mocci has developed an e-bike especially for the demanding commercial sector. (ben)
