Pharma network says "kalimera" to newest member
Athens international airport (AIA), the largest and busiest airport in the Balkans region, is the newest member of Pharma Aero.
Trevor Caswell, chair of the global collaborative platform for excellence in healthcare logistics: "By integrating AIA into our collaborative network, Pharma Aero not only acknowledges the airport's regional importance but also strengthens its footprint in the Mediterranean region."
Cargo Development at AIA, which received its Iata Ceiv Pharma certification in 2023, acts as the coordinator and facilitator of the airport’s cargo community.
Lina Palli, Iata Ceiv Pharma coordinator for the Athens cargo community: "By joining Pharma Aero we will join an international network of experts and gain valuable knowledge that we can transfer to our local partners. We will also support its mission to promote a seamless pharmaceutical supply chain." (ah)
