Peruvian customs changes reporting requirements
The Peruvian customs authority Sunat launched its "Fast" programme today, 3 June. To ensure compliance, Air Canada Cargo underlined that the information below must be identified on all air waybills destined for Lima. (ah)
1. The business consignee's Tax ID (RUC-11numbers), e-mail address and telephone number. You can find the Tax ID information by clicking on the first Sunat link below.
2. For cars, motorcycles and automotive vehicles, the vehicle identification number (VIN) and year of production must be indicated in the goods description field.
3. For hazardous goods the UN number must be indicated in the goods description field.
