PCC Intermodal gets four Traxx
The new multisystem locomotives from Alstom will be used in cross-border operations between Poland, Germany, Austria, Czechia, and Slovakia. PCC Intermodal is headquartered in Poland and now operates 15 electric locomotives in total.
Besides the delivery of four electric locomotives, the contract includes the training of PCC Intermodal staff and the provision of a full maintenance service.
The contract was executed within the “operational programme for infrastructure and environment” aiming at promoting and introducing low-emission transport solutions.
PCC Intermodal handles over 500 container trains per month connecting major sea ports and inland terminals in Europe and provides terminal services combined with door-to-door services on the last mile. (ben)
