Panattoni building for Dachser
Panattoni is to build the sixth facility for Dachser. The new logistics centre will be located in Magdeburg (Germany). The new project comes hot on the heels of the logistics centre in Alsdorf near Aachen that Panattoni built for Dachser in summer 2019.
The property developer will now build two halls with a logistics area totalling some 40,000 sqm in Magdeburg. The first hall will comprise around 32,000 sqm, the second about 8,000 sqm, and there will be around 1,880 sqm of office and social space. The centre will have 64 gates and a usable height of 12.2 m. Dachser will use the new premises for storing and distributing DIY articles. Panattoni will start shifting earth this month and plans to hand over the building to Dachser in December 2020. (mw)
