Orbcomm selects VP transportation sales Europe
Carsten Holtrup has been appointed as Orbcomm’s new vice-president transportation sales Europe. With this move, the provider of industrial IoT solutions wants to further expand its strong market position in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH countries).
In addition to serving existing customers, the telematics and IoT expert’s priority is to cater for the increasing demand for Orbcomm’s reliable fleet management solutions for trucks, buses, refrigerated and dry trailers, and intermodal containers by developing sales teams.
Holtrup was most recently responsible for the distribution of truck telematics solutions in Europe on behalf of California USA)-based GPS provider for nine years.
The new VP stated: "The consistently positive feedback from the clients that I have visited and the team’s expertise ensure that I will be able to successfully promote Orbcomm's presence in the DACH market." (mw)
