On the long haul with 100 e-trucks
DB Schenker has signed an agreement with Mercedes Benz Trucks to take delivery of the new eActros Long Haul. DB Schenker will begin to take over 100 e-trucks from the start of series production in 2024 and thus expand its fleet of sustainable vehicles.
This e-truck model can also be deployed for longer journeys. With the eActros Long Haul, DB Schenker can fit swap body trucks as well as tractor units into its groupage network for long-distance transports, and the trucks can also be used for FTL and LTL transport.
The eActros LongHaul is equipped with lithium iron phosphate cell technology and two electric motors for a continuous output of 400 kW. (ben)
