Nosta Group now in Romania
Combining road and sea freight strategies, the German Nosta Group has expanded in Romania with a new site connecting East and West via road and water.
The Nosta Group has gradually expanded its network to include the USA and Poland. Now venturing into Southeastern Europe, it is expanding to Cluj-Napoca, a city in Northern Romania.
This isn’t a new market for Nosta, as it has previously sourced drivers in collaboration with Romanian driving schools. The group will have a fleet of 450 vehicles and good connections to road, sea and air. Szilard Sarkozi, pictured above, has been chosen to run the site.
With his thirteen years’ experience in the Romanian market and local logistics branch, he will manage the firm on a country level. Nosta hopes to overcome driver shortages by directly working with driving schools and consolidating its presence in Romania. (mk)
