Northrail buys twelve locos
Northrail, a German rail vehicle rental company, acquired the two DE 18s and ten G 1206 s from the B&V Group as shunting and medium-haul locomotives for its parent company Rive, which is based in Paris, France.
Northrail’s portfolio comprises around 450 locomotives, multiple units and passenger coaches for freight and passenger traffic in Europe. It includes state-of-the-art electric and hybrid units and battery-electric regional trains as well as traditional shunting and universal locomotives. Northrail also designs tailor-made rental and service offers and organises vehicle maintenance. (ben)
