Night Star Express enhances infrastructure
Night Star Express has installed new conveyor equipment at its hub in Hünfeld (Germany). Among other advantages, the belt system significantly improves ergonomics and increases occupational safety.
The flow of more than 11,000 packaging units per night was simplified and substantially optimised only a few days after the new conveyor equipment was installed. This was immediately welcomed by hub employees and liner service drivers using the ramps.
Night Star Express invested around EUR 0.5 million in the new system. It was installed within four days and is intended to improve the tasks of around 70 employees in the hub. (mw)
