New warehouse in Manchester
Triton Construction is currently building a new speculative manufacturing and distribution facility in Middleton, Manchester, for Patrick Properties. Stakehill 185 is to offer 17,000 sqm of warehouse space, over three floors. The site, formerly a distribution centre for Sainsbury’s, was acquired by Patrick Properties in 2009.
Planning permission was granted to deliver the new facility earlier this year. It is located on Stakehill Industrial Estate, a logistics park close to the motorways M60 and M62. Site occupiers include Tesco, Aldi, Booker, Toolstation and Yodel. Ground preparation works have already started.
Triton Construction is a GBP 60 million (EUR 70 million) turnover company providing design and build, civils, fit out and refurbishment services. (sh)
