New system to optimise terminal operations in China
New Oriental International Terminals (LNOIT), part of COSCO, has gone live with Navis’ terminal operating system N4. Located on the southwestern coast of Haizhou Bay in China, LNOIT is the first modern terminal company specialising in international container loading and discharging at Lianyungang port.
The terminal reached 2.88 million teu in 2018 and currently operates more than 22 international and domestic routes. LNOIT plays an important role along the eastern bridgehead of the New Asia-Europe continental bridge. The terminal selected N4 to optimise operations, save costs as well as secure to grow further.
