New rail service between Austria and Croatia
The Austrian Rail Cargo Group (RCG) has introduced a new connection from and to Croatia in cooperation with the Croatian carrier HZ Cargo and the Slovenian railways SZ Cargo. The new direct route will help overcome the challenges currently facing international freight transport and facilitate smooth transloading to the rails, said RCG.
Services to Graz and Villach in Austria can be combined and brought to and from every region in Croatia without any detours. Furthermore, the new service also provides new connections to Germany, the Czechia, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. (ben)
