New name for Irish logistics provider
Two years ago, Dachser took over the majority shares of the Irish Company Johnston Logistics. The provider is now fully integrated into Dachser’s network and will be rebranded and renamed as Dachser-Ireland in September this year.
Dachser and Johnson Logistics have been partners since 2007. Johnston Logistics was founded in 1979. In addition to the headquarters in Rathcoole near Dublin, there are locations in Cork in the south and in Limerick on Ireland’s west coast.
In the warehousing segment, the company offers 20,000 pallet slots. In 2018, it shipped a total of 346,000 consignments in 120 daily departures. (ben)
