New facility to be established in Yachiyo
In Yachiyo, Japan, DHL Supply Chain, the contract logistics arm of DHL, has broken ground for a new logistics centre. The player thus reinforces its business presence in Greater Tokyo. The 40,000-sqm facility aims at customers in the consumer and retail sector, especially those in luxury retail lifestyle products.
The new multi-customer unit is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023. The facility is designed to save energy and emissions. It will be managed by Jérôme Gillet, president & representative director, CEO Japan and Korea, DHL Supply Chain. (sh)
