New equipment for port of Wismar
The German port of Wismar on the Baltic Sea is enhancing its equipment with six heavy-duty terminal tractors. The provider is Cargotec, with delivery of the machines scheduled for the early part of Q4/2020.
Wismar seaport on Germany’s northern coast handles a wide variety of cargo by road, rail and sea using a fleet of Kalmar forklifts.
The machines delivered will be fitted with engines that meet EU Stage V emission standards. An additional seat in the cabin will enable terminal tractor drivers and hydraulic material handler operators to travel together around the site. (mw)
