New Effi Shunter 600 for Čepro
Czechia-based Cepro has upgraded its extensive rolling stock fleet with the addition a new Effi Shunter 600 locomotive made by CZ Loko. The unit is fitted with a more powerful 709 kW Caterpillar C27 diesel engine, and its main advantages are, inter alia, reduced fuel consumption, extended service intervals, and improved working conditions for the operating staff.
The locomotive also sports a digital control system, cruise control and remote diagnostics based on GSM and GPS technologies. Cepro, a player in Czechia’s oil product market, operates eleven different locomotives on company-owned sidings. (ben)
