New distribution centre for beverage manufacturer
Prologis is developing a 23,000 sqm logistics hub in Hünxe in North Rhine –Westphalia in Germany. The distribution centre will be used by an international beverage company, which is a long-standing Prologis customer in a variety of markets worldwide. The building is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2020.
This new location near Düsseldorf provides the beverage manufacturer with space for more growth. “Our customer chose this property for various important reasons: for example, the central location near Düsseldorf and the excellent connections to densely populated areas such as the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region and the Netherlands were crucial,” says Philipp Feige, vice president, market officer Germany, Prologis.
Hünxe is conveniently situated for the beverage producer’s customers and is close to other company sites, which means that it can be easily integrated into the company’s existing network. (mw)
