New building for Bruckner Spedition
Real estate developer Panattoni is building a new logistics centre in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, for Spedition Brucker. With 800 employees, the forwarder operates 205,000 sqm of logistics space in eleven branches and nine other logistics hubs.
The future building is being constructed on an approximately 47,000 sqm site in the Gügling industrial park in Baden-Württemberg. The current owner is Andritz-Ritz, the oldest company in the city. It will vacate the site by the end of 2022.
Starting in January 2023, Panattoni will realise around 23,200 sqm of hall space, plus around 1,300 sqm of office space and 1,200 sqm of mezzanine and gallery space. Panattoni plans to hand over the property to Spedition Brucker in spring 2024. (sh)
