New branch in Slovakia
Emons has expanded its international network by founding its new subsidiary Emons Slovakia and opening its first hub in Slovakia. The handling facility for general cargo is situated in the city of Bratislava close to the motorway and only 7 km away from the international airport.
With its excellent transport links, the location serves as a receiving depot for distributing shipments and collecting goods from its own customers’ premises.
Emons Slovakia organises the deliveries of the goods across Slovakia under its own stream. In addition to the general cargo handling, Emons’ employees provide value added services on site, such as time-oriented shipments, free delivery to the point of use in individual shops and shopping centres as well as pallet management and customs clearance.
Conveniently, Bratislava’s customs office is in the same building as the offices of Emons Slovakia – only a short distance from the cargo handling facility. (mw)
