Networking from Graz to Vienna
Italian transport group Autamarocchi has opened its own branch in the port area of Vienna (Hafen Wien) via its subsidiary Autamarocchi GmbH already present in Austria. This first office is located in the Cargo Centre Graz.
The Trieste-based company stated Austria's business potential, but also opportunities in neighbouring Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary as reasons for its new venture.
While Koper is an important hub on the Mediterranean and part of the 'North Adriatic Gate' to Europe, Budapest remains a turntable for the whole of Central Europe. Autamarocchi’s international expansion actually started in Hungary more than 15 years ago. (sh)
