Mousset picks a fitting fizz
Another takeover in the food, beverages and living animals segment: The French Mousset group is acquiring transport company Transavoielait.
In France, Transavoielait specialises in collecting milk in the Savoie, Haute-Savoie and Ain regions. The company located in à Musièges close to Annecy transports 150 million l of milk with 48 drivers per year and generated a turnover of EUR 4.4 million in 2020.
The Mousset group, founded 56 years ago, achieves a yearly turnover of approx. EUR 280 million with more than a hundred operating sites throughout France and is also present in Poland, Ukraine and Morocco. In recent years, the group also started courier services, temperature-controlled transport and food deliveries into city centres. (sh)
