More Vectron MS for rental
The Austrian leasing company Green Mobility Partners has placed an order for up to 50 locomotives with Siemens Mobility. The contract includes the agreed purchase of eight Vectron MS locomotives as well as support in the service area, the manufacturer said.
The Vectron MS locos have gained approval in over 20 countries and are designed for cross-border travel in Europe on all rail corridors. They have maximum power of up to 6.4 MW and a top speed of up to 200 km/h.
The units are produced at the German Siemens Mobility plant in Munich-Allach, while the chassis is supplied by the global competence centre in Graz, Austria. (ben)
