More Trans Montanas for Romania
DB Cargo Romania, part of DB Cargo Group, and PSP Cargo Group Romania are acquiring Trans Montana locomotives from manufacturer Softronic. A Trans Montana TM 082 locomotive was delivered to DB Cargo’s Romanian branch at the end of December.
A second locomotive, a TM 085, is to arrive at the end of April 2024. This will bring to 27 the number of new locomotives that DB Cargo has purchased from Softronic Craiova over the last ten years.
PSP Cargo Group Romania is a new customer for Softronic and recently placed an order for a Trans Montana 080 locomotive. The company is part of Petrolsped and has branches in Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Austria, and Germany. (ben)
