On 3 January 2024, Kombiverkehr introduced a new direct train between Lübeck (Germany) and Stockholm via Hallsberg and Norrköping (all in Sweden). The service will run between the Dänischburg CTL terminal in Lübeck and the Norra (Rosersberg) terminal in Stockholm.
On 15 January, the intermodal operator will launch a service combining ferries from Lübeck and trains from Malmö on this route. The new links will be operated in cooperation with DB Cargo Scandinavia and Finnlines.
Dangerous goods, excepting classes 1 and 7, and waste can be transported on these services. Trailers with a P400 profile are also allowed. (ben)
