More safety when driving heavy trucks
A new AI-supported DVS system (direct vision standard) eliminates blind spots in trucks and increases driving safety.
Add Secure's solution consists of a collision information system with a camera that can detect vulnerable road users in the front blind spot up to 5 m in front of the vehicle and a side dual-lens camera covering up to 30 m on the passenger side.
The DVS cameras are integrated into the safety devices that will be mandatory in the EU from July 2024 and are already established in London (UK) for trucks over 12 t. The system turns itself on at speeds from 0 to 30 km/h. (ben)
