More routes, more integration of transport data
The transport management platform Transporeon and the Austrian Rail Cargo Group (RCG) have extended their joint services to include new rail corridors. Under the extended partnership, customers can use less CO2-intensive rail and multimodal chains, in which the long-haul laps are covered by train and the first and last miles are handled by trucks.
The service is now new available along Western Turkey lines (linked with Belgium, North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) and Central Hungary), Veneto (Italy) lines (linked with Lower Saxony (Germany), North Rhine-Westphalia, Eastern Austria and Hungary) as well as East - West lines (linking Central Serbia – North Rhine-Westphalia and Western Romania – Belgium).
