More intermodal services for the Mezzogiorno
Swiss combined transport operator Hupac launched a new train service in Italy on 15 February 2022. The shuttle operates two weekly round trips between Pomezia, near Rome, and Novara, to the west of Milan.
It also offers numerous gateway connections from Novara with destinations in Germany (Ludwigshafen, Karlsruhe, Hannover, Lübeck), Belgium (Zeebrugge), the Netherlands (Rotterdam), Scandinavia (via Lübeck) and France (Paris).
The train leaves Novara’s ICM Terminal on Mondays (14.45 h) and Wednesdays (15.30 h) and Pomezia’s Mercitalia Terminal on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 13.00, transporting units with the C22 (C54) profile. (ben)
