More intermodal links to Rotterdam and UK
A new five weekly train now connects the CT terminal in the inland port Bayernhafen Nürnberg (Germany) with Rotterdam Cobelfret (The Netherlands).
From Rotterdam, there are ferry links to UK and Ireland. Containers, semi-trailers and swap bodies can be transported on this route, which is operated by a cooperation between Kombiverkehr and TFG Transfracht.
Germany-based freight forwarder Heinloth already transports 100 trailers a week via this link and also organises onward shipments by ferry. (ben)
