More intermodal links between Italy and Belgium
Swiss intermodal transport operator Hupac has added a new service between Antwerp HTA (Belgium) and Novara CIM (Italy) to its network. The terminal offers gateway connections in Italy to Pescara/Manoppello and Bari with profile C70/P400 as well as onward links to Rome/Pomezia with reduced profile for containers and swap bodies only.
Antwerp HTA now offers two shuttle train services to Northwest Italy: three weekly round trips to and from Novara CIM and twelve weekly round trips to and from Busto Arisizio.
The Novara CIM terminal is operated by Combiconnect, a company of the Hupac Group. The CT specialist is planning a modernisation programme to increase the terminal's capacity in the coming years. (ben)
