Meratus going for Malaysia
Meratus Linesis, an Indonesian shipping line, is extending its international outreach. It recently launched a new direct service from the Port of Tanjung Priok in Jakarta to Port Klang, Malaysia. The 8,400 t “Meratus Project 3” ship was deployed.
The latest route is expected to meet trade demands between Indonesia and Malaysia. "This is our fourth international route in the last six months, complementing our 30 existing domestic routes to support the national logistics chain," said Meratus Lines CEO Farid Belbouab. Further international connections are in the making. (sh)
