Menzies Aviation, a service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, has inaugurated its first global support office in Pakistan. To mark the inauguration of the new IT infrastructure and service desk there, Menzies’ group CEO, Philipp Joeinig, was joined by the Pakistani prime minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in unveiling a commemorative plaque inaugurating the offices.

A delegation that included Attaullah Tarar, the federal minister for information and broadcasting, and Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the minister of state for IT, along with Menzies’ senior vice-president for operations in the MEA region, John Henderson, also came together to discuss the opportunities to foster collaboration and encourage sustainable economic growth.

The new office, located in Islamabad, will serve as a hub for the multinational business’s IT and service operations. (cj)
