Marcel Theis to head SBB Cargo Deutschland
Marcel Theis, chief operating officer at SBB Cargo International, has been appointed managing director of SBB Cargo Deutschland. Götz Jesberg, who has held this position in SBB Cargo International’s German subsidiary since 2016, has decided to pursue new professional challenges outside the company.
Theis will take over his new position in April 2023. He has been working as COO and deputy of CEO Sven Flore at SBB Cargo International since June 2014. In addition to his role as managing director of SBB Cargo Deutschland, Theis will remain COO of the SBB Cargo International Group, to continue his task of optimising the integration of international production processes and improving international cooperation.
