Maharaj creates new leadership constellation
Constellation Cold Logistics has appointed Abhy Maharaj as its new chief commercial officer (COO), with effect from 1 February. His extensive experience in business growth, automation and technology will support Constellation’s new strategy following its acquisition by EQT.
Maharaj previously held leadership roles at NewCold Coöperatief, overseeing automated cold storage operations, and spent eleven years at Fonterra, one of the world’s largest dairy exporters. He also contributed to Air New Zealand’s transformation into an industry leader.
Constellation provides temperature-controlled storage and value-adding services for food producers, traders and retailers. Backed by EQT since October 2024, the company focuses on European expansion, ensuring cold logistics excellence through innovation and market expertise. (ah)
