Luka Koper expands storage capacity
Luka Koper has bolstered its reefer capabilities by adding 315 new reefer plugs, which now total over 1,000 units. This is to prevent interruptions in cold chains during peak seasons. The upgraded section accommodates five reefer containers, thus boosting efficiency.
Additionally, the port was expanded by 68,000 sqm, providing a new storage space for 3,500 vehicles at the car terminal. With a EUR 7.3 million investment, the car terminal's capacity now reaches 46,500 vehicles after handling over 800,000 in 2022. (pb)
