LOT Cargo embarks on Iata CEIV pharma certification
Before November, LOT Polish Airlines is expected to complete Iata's CEIV pharma certification which will enable efficient transportation of medicines and valuable pharma products in the highest global standard.
Cargo director Michał Grochowski: "This gives us the opportunity to expand our cooperation with many significant entities on the pharma market. There are producers who depend on the carrier’s certification in the first place when placing their orders."
In addition, as the first airline in central Europe, LOT has adopted a digital process of approval and verification of dangerous goods - Iata's newly developed dangerous goods autocheck (DG autocheck). This allows LOT to manage the transport of dangerous goods by air more securely and effectively while at the same time enhancing safety standards and compliance. (ah)
