Logistics for Russian luxury car maker
The Russian Railways Holding will provide logistical support for the handling of Russian luxury cars produced by the Auarus family. The deal includes a full range of logistics services at the Russian manufacture site of Sollers in Yelabuga.
RZD Logistics will organise the reception and delivery of 65 containers with equipment from South Korea to the plant. They will arrive by rail at the Tikhonovo station of Kuibyshev Railways.
RZD Holding secured the timely delivery of wagons in accordance with the timetable provided by the client to the Russian terminal in Tatarstan with subsequent cargo unloading and its just-in-time delivery to the production site. The first batch of containers with equipment already arrived last Monday, 9 November 2020. (ben)
