Logista remains robust
In its financial year 2020, the international wholesale company Logista recorded an adjusted operating profit of EUR 257 million, a slight decrease of 1.9% compared to 2019.
Sales registered a slight increase of 0.7%, standing at EUR 1.2 billion due to the improvements registered in activity in Italy and, to a lesser extent, in Iberia, which mitigated the reduction experienced in France. Sales in Logista's key market Iberia grew by 0.7% compared to the previous year, reaching EUR 585 million.
Without the negative impact induced by the Covid-19 pandemic, which the company estimates at EUR 14 million, there would have been a rise of 6%. (sh)
