Leman's activities on the rise
The Danish transport and logistics company Leman looks back on 2021 with joy. The company's turnover took a leap of 60%, rising from DKK 2.2 billion (EUR 300 million) to DKK 3.6 billion (EUR 480 million). Operating profit was back in the black in 2021 at DKK 64 million (EUR 8.6 million).
In addition to a general increase in freight rates and activities, Leman's establishment in China with the opening of six new offices in 2021 and a seventh in 2022 made a positive contribution to the overall business. In contrast, 2020 was a bad year for the company because it was hit by a hacker attack. (sh)
