Laurels for outstanding supply chain achievements
Since 2015 the Swiss Logistics Foundation has nominated eminent industry executives for the ‘Swiss Supply Chain Hall of Fame’ for their outstanding achievements in Switzerland’s supply, supply chain, logistics and transport sectors.
The jury unanimously elected Hansruedi Richner, co-founder of Metzger + Richner, now the M+R Spedag Group, and long-standing president of Spedlogswiss, as its 20th member of the hall of fame. Richner will be honoured and inducted on Wednesday, 18 September 2024. The name of the twenty-first member will remain a secret until the evening of the gala.
The M+R Spedag Group, based in Muttenz, is an internationally active Swiss freight forwarding and logistics enterprise with around 2,000 employees. It exceeded the USD 1 billion turnover mark for the first time in 2021. (cj)
