Launch of refrigerated rail transport service to UK
Transfesa Logistics has started a new express 72-hour rail connection to transport essential, hygiene, and medical products from the Spanish terminals in Valencia and Murcia to London (UK). With the launch of these rail routes, the company is adapting its services to the current demand, where the delivery and receipt of food items take precedence to guarantee the population's supply.
The services uses refrigerated boxes, thus expanding the activity that Transfesa Logistics had so far operated on a national and international scale. Currently, the new lines serve various companies in the sector to transport fruits and vegetables. The objective is to develop these railway operations with a daily train, Transfesa said. (ben)
